L'Extra brut

A. Margaine produces champagne for already 5 generations. The 7 hectares of the property are planted with 90% chardonnay and 10% pinot noir.  The village of Villers-Marmery is located in the Montagne de Reims, a pinot noir dominated area. 

In this village, almost only chardonnay is planted due to its special location in relation to the rest of the area. The soil type consists of clay-limestone and this ensures a very mineral chardonnay.

The style of the house is simplicity and conviviality.
