Francis Orban

In 1929 grape grower Léopold Orban started producing champagne under his own name in Leuvrigny, on the south bank in the central Marne valley. His son and grandson continued the tradition, now it is his great grandchild's turn. After his education Francis Orban joined his parent's business in 1999, in 2007 he launched the champagne range bearing his name.

Meunier is the variety planted in the five hectares of vineyards, a grape that fits the accessible, fruity style of the domain. The visually calm look of the labels gives you a good first impression of the flavors in the bottles: Orban makes wonderfully drinkable, no nonsense champagnes.
