Special Cuvée
The showpiece of classic champagne house Bollinger (est. 1829) is Special Cuvee, a refined and powerful champagne. Grapes are picked in mostly grand cru and premier cru villages, and fermented in oak. Pinot noir is the main grape, giving this champagne power and length, balanced out by nice acidity. A consistent blend that impresses year after year.
Enjoy it just by itself; also a grateful partner to a seafood dish with shrimps, or a platter of aged cheeses.
