l'Ascendant Solera

Wonderfully dry blend, very similar to l'Atavique in terms of composition: pinot noir and chardonnay from Verzy. In this case the most recent vintage was blended with reserve wine from the réserve perpetuelle, a solera system, started in 2010, in which Sébastien Mouzon adds younger wines to aged wines. The reserve wine adds lots of layers and complexity to this champagne.
