Les Vignes de Montigny

This assemblage champagne of pinot noir and pinot meunier is deliciously fruity with notes of citrus and liquorice. It was made from 2 different parcels coming from Montigny sous Chatillon, in Vallée de la Marne. The pinot noir is from 15 years old vines and the pinot meunier from much older vines, on average 65 years old. 65% of the vine was vinified in oak barrels and the rest in stainless steel vats. No malolactic fermentation, bâtonnage done after fermentation.
